Referral Program Terms & Conditions
The mySKINBAR Referral Program allows mySKINBAR (“MSB”) customers to earn promotional reward credits (“Reward Credits”) toward future MSB purchases by referring friends or family members to MSB. By participating in the Referral Program, you (the “Referrer”) agree to abide by these Referral Program Terms & Conditions and MSB’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (both available on our website and incorporated here by reference).
Eligible Customer: For the purpose of this Referral Program, an eligible customer is anyone who has purchased a MSB product prior to making the referral.
About Our Referral Program
Qualified Referral: Referrers will receive a Reward Credit for each Qualified Referral, up to the cap identified below. A “Qualified Referral” is defined as a first purchase made at www.mySKINBAR.com by a person (a “Referred Customer”) who arrives to our website by clicking your MSB Referral Program link. The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address). We automatically disqualify suspicious referrals. If someone you referred made his or her first purchase using your MSB referral link and you didn’t receive store credit, your referral might have been flagged as suspicious. Just shoot us an email—MSBTeam@myskinbar.com —and we’ll sort it out for you.
Referral Rewards: For you to earn Reward Credits as a Referrer, the Referred Customer must complete an order on mySKINBAR.com and must not have shopped on mySKINBAR.com before.
Reward Credits: Each Reward Credit will be worth $10 SGD in promotional credit on mySKINBAR.com. A Referrer may earn no more than the equivalent of $500 SGD in Reward Credits per calendar year. Your account will be updated with your Reward Credits within 7 days of the Referred Customer completing his or her first purchase. As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Credits.
Validity
Referral Credits (“RC”) are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance, unless stated otherwise.
If the RC(s) that are not redeemed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. No correspondence or claims will be entertained in the event of such forfeiture. A Participant whose RC(s) has been forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever from mySKINBAR.
Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to individuals only. MSB’s Referral Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation, as determined in MSB’s sole discretion. You must be a legal resident of Singapore.
Restrictions
You are only allowed to email referrals to friends and family members (those people with whom you have a personal relationship) and you must have received their permission first. A “friend” is a person with whom you communicate frequently and have met in person before. A “family member” is a person who is your parent, sibling or child or a person with whom you are related through marriage or common-law partnership. You must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws and marketing regulations, which may include the laws where your friends or family members live. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is prohibited. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from MSB’s Referral Program. We’ll be watching for spammers so please be kind and only share with people you know—nobody likes an overshare-r!
Also, Reward Credits are not valid for cash or cash equivalent and must be used in the currency in which they were received. Reward Credits cannot be transferred to other people or accounts.
Right to Close Accounts
MSB reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer and to request proper payment if the Referrer and/or Referred Customer attempts to use the MSB Referral Program in a questionable manner or breaches any of these Terms & Conditions or is in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation.
Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms
MSB reserves the right to cancel the MSB Referral Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. However, it will not affect the expiration date of any referral link that has already been provided, nor your entitlement to use any Reward Credits that you may already have earned, in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
